ABSTRACT
Abstract: The aim of the article is to present current problems encountered in the organization of health care for students at school and to indicate proposals for organizational and legal improvements. Material and methods: For the purposes of this study, the regulations in force regarding the organization
of health care for students were analyzed and the literature on the subject was reviewed, in particular reports on students’ health problems. Results: Based on the analyzes of the legal status, it was established what the model care for students at school should look like. By analyzing the literature on the subject, it was assessed what the organization of care looks like in practice and what problems remain unsolved, despite over five years of the new regulation. Conclusions: It is necessary to revise the current assumptions regarding the care of students at school. An
urgent task is to improve the exchange of information and computerization of school medicine.
