ABSTRACT
The article refers to personal, cultural and environmental conditions of the teacher’s job in the light of research carried out among 60 primary school teachers. The undertaken subject matter includes numerous problems which, in fact since the beginning of a teacher’s position, still have shed a new light on this, we may dare say, important both in the past and contemporary job. Nowadays it is assumed that a teacher should reveal as a source of knowledge but also act as the means of excepted norms and values. In order to create such a model without a doubt it he is determined by a certain set of features and factors. The basic aim of the research was to find out and determine personal, cultural and environmental correlants, which in teachers’ opinion influence effectiveness and success within an educator’s work.
