ABSTRACT
Abstract: The article analyzes the impact of AI-related technological transformation on society. From the evolution of the definition of society, through the concept of the information society, the article examines the changes that AI introduces to the social structure. Material and methods: Analysis of the literature on the subject, statistical data, and own research results. The article was created as a result of an analysis of available and own materials regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on the change of social life and the development of society. Results: One of the most important challenges related to the development of AI is the creation of comprehensive legal and ethical regulations regarding the development of AI. Conclusions: The transformation associated with the development of AI is shaping contemporary reality. We must decide whether AI algorithms will be able to make decisions without human “countersignature” that can potentially affect the future of life on Earth.
