Abstract: Edmund Bojanowski's thought and pedagogical practice perfectly fit into the process of modern upbringing of children. The aim of the article is to indicate the possibility of using the extraordinary wealth of Bojanowski's achievements and the way to incorporate them in contemporary educational practice.
The implementation of the assumed goal is included in the process of argumentation which consists of an introduction to the problem by analysing the educational method of Bojanowski and specifying the significance of stories against its background. Material and methods: The method of literature analysis and content selection was used to obtain a synthesis of the discussed issues. Results: The undertaken analyses reveal the incredible topicality of the pedagogical thought of Edmund Bojanowski and extensive opportunities to use it in contemporary educational practice. Conclusions: Educational reality reveals the need to identify educators and teachers who would be true masters, carriers of authentic values. One of them is Bojanowski.
