Wstęp: Celem niniejszego artykułu jest krytyczna synteza aktualnego stanu wiedzy na temat związku między korzystaniem
z narzędzi opartych na sztucznej inteligencji (AI) a rozwojem intelektualnym dzieci i młodzieży. Artykuł dąży
do odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jakim stopniu – w świetle dotychczasowych badań – narzędzia AI mogą pełnić rolę wsparcia
poznawczego, a w jakim substytutu procesów myślowych uczniów, oraz do zidentyfikowania potencjalnych zależności
i czynników moderujących, które powinny zostać uwzględnione w przyszłych badaniach empirycznych, w tym podłużnych. Materiał i metody: Zastosowano metodę narracyjnego przeglądu literatury (ang. narrative review). Przeszukano bazy
danych Scopus, Web of Science oraz Google Scholar z zastosowaniem kombinacji słów kluczowych w językach polskim i angielskim.
Analizie poddano publikacje z lat 2019-2025, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem opracowań z ostatnich trzech lat.
Przyjęto kryteria doboru uwzględniające grupę badaną (dzieci i młodzież w wieku 6-18 lat), kontekst edukacyjny oraz
empiryczny charakter źródeł. Wyniki: Przegląd literatury wskazuje na ambiwalentny charakter zależności między korzystaniem z AI a rozwojem intelektualnym
młodzieży. Z jednej strony systemy AI umożliwiają indywidualizację uczenia się, wspierają metapoznanie
i poszerzają dostęp do wiedzy. Z drugiej strony badania sygnalizują, że nieumiejętne lub nadmierne korzystanie z tych narzędzi
współwystępuje z nadmiernym odciążeniem poznawczym, słabszymi wynikami w pomiarach krytycznego myślenia,
niższą retencją wiedzy, obniżoną autonomią intelektualną oraz powierzchownym przetwarzaniem informacji. Kluczowymi
czynnikami moderującymi są sposób użycia technologii, wiek ucznia oraz kontekst dydaktyczny, w jakim AI jest wdrażana. Wnioski: Znaczenie AI dla rozwoju intelektualnego młodzieży nie jest z góry zdeterminowane przez samą technologię, lecz
w decydującym stopniu zależy od pedagogicznych ram jej zastosowania. Ze względu na krótką historię badanego zjawiska
i brak badań podłużnych sformułowane wnioski mają charakter wstępny i wskazują przede wszystkim kierunki dalszych
badań. Niezbędne jest opracowanie i wdrożenie opartych na dowodach strategii dydaktycznych, które pozwolą maksymalizować
poznawcze korzyści płynące z AI, minimalizując jednocześnie ryzyko osłabienia zdolności samodzielnego myślenia.
